Glasgow, come rain, hail or snow!

Glasgow in all its summer beauty
It seems that spring and summer have stalled on us and we are stuck in limbo somewhere between cold and Baltic!

Never mind though. If there's one thing the Glaswegians have it's an unshakeable ability to have fun no matter what the weather brings.

When it rains in Glasgow the city's warmth comes out

This is all good for visitors to our beautiful city where, no matter if it's raining buckets, you can still dine al fresco and, no matter if the air is cold enough to bring freeze your left hand off, you can still be assured of getting an ice cream.

It's with this 'smile-in-the-face-of-adversity' attitude that makes Glasgow such a vibrant place to visit.

We can't promise that the weather will improve any time soon, nor if the summer will actually arrive, but what we can promise is a visit that is full of warmth and sunshine from the people and spirit of Glasgow.

There's loads to see and do, whatever the weather, and there will always be someone to share the joke with when your teeth are chattering or your waterproof jacket has leaked.

Where else in the world can you get warmth and sunshine like that?
