Getting Excited About the Commonwealth Games

I know it's still a year away, but we are already getting excited about the Commonwealth Games in 2014.

Last weekend's epic road cycling race through the streets of Glasgow was fabulous as half of the city came to a halt to admire the physical fitness and endurance of some of the UK's top cyclists.


The atmosphere created by the crowds and the roads being closed gave the city a great vibe and we can only suspect that this was just a mere taste of what's to come to Glasgow next year.

With a whole lot more than cycling on offer, the Commonwealth Games will be a major draw for visitors both nationally and internationally, so if you're thinking you might like to come to Glasgow to take in some of the Games, then after last weekend's enthusiasm I can only suggest you start thinking about making arrangements soon!
